    This presentation will address the unique challenges of evangelism in a rural context and how to motivate and prepare your congregation to be both more active and effective in sharing their faith.

    In this presentation you will hear from a panel of real everyday volunteers that have been equipped to do the work of the Church. They will share the significant experiences and insights that prepared them for ministry in the local church.

  • Adaptive Leadership in Rural Ministry

    Presenter: Dr. Glenn Daman

    While the Plenary Session will examine the changes in the broader culture and how they are affecting rural ministry, in this session, we will look at the current challenges confronting rural communities and how these challenges provide opportunities for ministry. We will consider the presenting challenges of our day and how the Church may adapt to impact the community with the gospel and a broader kingdom theology.

  • Sharing Faith to the Next Generation

    Presenters: Tiger McLuen, Sara Sosa

    This presentation will examine the heart of what makes a leader into someone who can impact the life of a child or teenager. You will be encouraged, equipped and inspired in your important work with children and youth, and be provided with some key ideas on what it means to walk alongside the next generation with passion and clarity. We anticipate you leaving with practical insights to use as you equip and encourage others around you.

    Rooted in the Great Commandment, this session will explore the unique dynamics that immigration poses to small towns and rural areas and how we can turn these into opportunities to form relationships that transform our communities.

  • Rural Mental Health & the Church

    Host: Jim Hodgson / Presenters: Stephanie Downey, Monica McConkey, Rebecca Gardner and Glen Bloomstrom

    This leadership panel of mental health workers will address the power of faith in Jesus for health and well-being, the lack of formal pastoral leadership training on mental health and identify key barriers regarding mental health that are unique to the rural context and ways/resources to overcome them.
